About the Newsletter
Communication Times is the newsletter for members of the Toronto chapter of STC. It appears monthly except for July and August. It is e-mailed to members of the Toronto STC chapter about a week before the monthly meeting. Non-members can subscribe for $27 a year.

Volunteers are Welcome To

Write short, lively reports about the general meetings
Interview speakers and write about upcoming meetings
Review books
Write about adventures in technical communication
Report on successful job-hunting strategies
Write about the value of technical communication to your company or clients
Explain new technology or research
Submit ideas and write other stories
Copy-edit, do layout, find advertisers...

Newsletter Awards

Our chapter newsletter, communication Times, wins awards in its chapter category. Currently, that's chapters over 600 members:

In 1999 - 2000, it won the Award of Merit
(chapters over 600).
In 1998 - 1999, it won the Award of Excellence
(chapters over 600).
In 1996, it won Best of Show for newsletters in its class.
