Benefits
of membership
Joining
the STC
Click
here to join the STC. From this
link, you can choose to print an application or to join online. Consider
joining some special-interest groups at the same time.
You
are joining the international society: then your membership information
is forwarded to the Toronto chapter.
- If
you're in a community near Toronto, it's wise to ask for the Toronto
chapter to make sure that you are assigned correctly.
- If
you are not in the Toronto area, you can still ask to join the Toronto
chapter and receive our newsletter; however, there are active STC chapters
in other cities, such as Waterloo, and in other provinces. See Links
> STC Web sites.
For
more information, please contact our Membership Manager at membership@stctoronto.org.
Please include your e-mail address if you want an e-mail response.
If
you need to know more
- Here
is our chapter brochure in HTML
or PDF format. You
are welcome to print and distribute it.
- Check
out the international organization's Web
site.
Toronto
general meetings
The
Toronto Chapter meets on the second Monday of the month, at 7:00 p.m.,
from September to June. Click here for meeting
location and a map.
Non-members
at meetings
As
of the March 2000 meeting, non-members of STC will be charged a $5 fee. This policy was developed
in an attempt to be fair both to members, whose dues fund the meetings,
and non-members who want to attend a few meetings but choose not to join
the STC.
If
you have questions please contact our Membership Manager at membership@stctoronto.org.
