Jennifer began writing professionally in 1988, preparing fundraising and public relations materials for B'nai Brith Canada. She moved to Israel in 1990, where she continued writing for the non-profit sector and then lived on kibbutz for a couple years. She moved to Tel Aviv in 1994 and began her career in software, first in educational software and then in technical software. Her last job in Israel was at Mercury Interactive, a leading software company recently acquired by HP, where she was senior technical writer and documentation team leader for WinRunner and QuickTest from 1997 to 2002.
After returning to Canada, Jennifer has held a variety of full-time and contract positions.
In addition to her day job, Jennifer creates product documentation, white papers, and website content for Sericon Technology, a company she owns with her husband. Jennifer joined the STC Israel chapter in 1996. She was advertising manager for i-contact, the chapter newsletter, and a member of the executive until 2000. In 2001 she became a senior member of the STC. She is currently Hospitality Manager of the STC Toronto chapter.
Jennifer holds an Honours B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science and an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto.
