Liz is a graduate of the Humber College Technical Writing Certificate program. She has been writing professionally since 2004, preparing and editing end-user documentation for Qualicom Innovations Inc. Since beginning her career, she has developed passions for Plain English, copyediting, international documentation standards, single sourcing, and usability issues.

She joined the STC Toronto Chapter as a student member in 2004, and became the Hospitality Manager later that year. In 2006 she became the Recognitions Manager.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading; learning new things; blogging; relaxing at the cottage with her partner, David and their two cats; and horseback riding.
