Anna Parker-Richards, STC Toronto Vice President

Immediately following graduation from the University of Waterloo with a Joint Honours degree in English - Rhetoric and Professional Writing and Recreation and Leisure Studies - Co-operative program, Anna Parker-Richards began her career as a technical communicator under the tutelage of Ann Rockley, working for The Rockley Group as a Technical Writer.

With more than ten years experience in technical communications in software, Anna has enjoyed the progression of working as a:

• Junior Consultant/Technical Writer;
• Technical Writer in Product Development;
• Training Solutions Developer/Facilitator in Professional Services;
• Product Manager, Channel Support in Product Management.

Currently the Toronto Chapter Vice President, Anna first joined the STC in 1997 and has served a variety of different executive positions including Education Manager, Recognitions Manager, and Job Bank Coordinator.
