Phil Kahn and family

Philip Kahn is the owner of Digital Jive Services, a Toronto-based consulting company founded in 1996. In addition to technical writing, Philip provides a wide range of computer and internet related services including web design & hosting and Macintosh support.Philip jumped into the high technology sector after earning an MA in history and founded Digital Jive in 1996 while working for Apple Computer. After managing their Canadian call centre for two years he joined Rogers Media and is currently involved with several websites and publications, the biggest being 'Advisor.ca'. Meanwhile, through Digital Jive he has earned a large and eclectic assortment of clients who appreciate his diverse skills.

Philip has been a STC member since 2001 and is a regular contributor to the newsletter. He says "Technical Communicating is an increasingly interdisciplinary field, and there is no better way to keep on top of it all than being an active STC member."
