Rob Hanna is the Director of Professional Services at SiberLogic Inc—an industry innovator in XML-based enterprise content management solutions. His expertise in content management and experience as a technical communicator bring a strong user-centered focus to his contribution to the SiberLogic team. He has been learning, developing, and teaching single-source publishing best practices for the past several years.
Rob has been writing professionally across several industries since 1990. In 1997 he stepped off into the role of technical writer for CAE Electronics focusing on software engineering documentation. Rob has since worked for three other information technology groups including Entrust Technologies, Canadian Tire and International Financial Data Services before joining SiberLogic in Toronto in 2005.
Rob is the President of the Toronto Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) and a very active participant in the local technical writing community. In 2002, Hanna was instrumental in forming the Toronto STC Single-Sourcing SIG (Special Interest Group). He is a regular guest speaker at chapter and SIG meetings and at regional and international conferences.
