Sheldon is an active member of the STC Toronto Chapter, and is the Volunteer Manager for the 2006-2007 session. He is currently working as a Technical Writer for IFDS, Toronto, where he writes and edits user guides, release notes, Web-site content, RFPs, etc.

As Volunteer Manager of the chapter, Sheldon encourages fellow technical communicators to get involved with the exciting task of building a vibrant community of technical communicators. He maintains a list of active volunteer members,and helps coordinate between chapter activity managers who require volunteer assistance, and volunteers who fit these roles.

Sheldon is always looking for enthusiastic members who are passionate about the profession to come forward and volunteer their time and expertise with the chapter. He would also like to hear from senior members who would like to mentor technical communicators who need their guidance.
