"Empowering your Professional Self"

Patrick McCormack led a hands-on workshop consisting of networking plus business etiquette plus motivation. His theme was "Empowering your Professional Self: Does a Professional's Network Equal a Professional's Net worth?"

Patrick emphasized good manners and courage in putting one's best foot forward. He encouraged everyone

• To know how to introduce people and get themselves introduced
• To circulate independently in crowds
• To be able to tell others briefly what they do
• To pass on useful tips to others

Those present got to practice on each other. Patrick's refrain was: "It's not personal, it's business."

After the workshop, members asked many questions for a lively discussion.
