STC Toronto chapter meetings

The STC Toronto chapter holds general meetings on the second Tuesday of each month from September to June. Meetings include presentations, discussions, and sometimes an information table. Refreshments are served to encourage networking before and after the formal part of the meeting.

By subway
Take the Yonge line to the North York Civic Centre stop. Follow the signs for North York Civic Centre. You emerge in an underground shopping concourse. Turn left and follow the concourse south towards the food court. Near the food court on the left is North York Memorial Community Centre and the STC general meetings.

By car
The Civic Centre is on Yonge Street, north of the 401 and halfway between the major east-west streets Sheppard and Finch. It is on the west side near the North York Civic Centre, North York Public Libaray, and a Novetel Hotel. There is inexpensive underground parking off either Park Home Avenue or Beecroft Road, as well as above-ground parking on Beecroft. To reach the Community Centre, take the elevator to the concourse level and go to the south, or library, end of the concourse.

On foot
Walk to the west side of Yonge Street just north of the North York Civic Centre's Mel Lastman square. Enter the office tower/shopping complex that contains the North York Public Library. Walk west and take an escalator down to the concourse. Near the library is North York Memorial Community Centre and the the STC general meetings.
