Friends of STC award

Friends of STC Toronto include any person or group that has made a significant contribution to the STC Toronto chapter but is not a member. A friend can win this award only once. The chapter executive identifies award winners.

Abby Lorenzo For your generous and cheerful assistance at the general meetings and at many STC Toronto events throughout the year.

President's Award

The President’s Award recognizes "a person who has made a significant contribution to the Toronto chapter’s year and is not otherwise (sufficiently) recognized." Members, non-members and executive are all eligible.

2002 - 2003 saw many people contributing in many ways. Therefore, the President felt compelled, once again, to turn the award into a bouquet, recognizing a several people who were unusually active and supportive.

Andrew Brooke For tireless service and dedication to the STC Toronto chapter as Job Bank and Volunteer Manager, Fall Education Day presenter, program speaker and moderator, and a regular contributor to the monthly newsletter.
Anna Parker-Richards For outstanding leadership in organizing and managing the highly successful Fall Education Day and Spring Conference.
Laurie Pearce For your perseverance and commitment to editing and producing an outstanding, award-winning monthly newsletter.
 
Kim Watson

For your hard work and dedication in single-handedly running the 2002 competitions for Technical Publications and Online Documentation.

 

Outstanding Chapter Rookie

Members who volunteer in their first year are eligible for Rookie Awards. Our chapter is proud to recognize these new members for contributing to the chapter’s success in their first year as members.
