Chapter-level Recognition

Pacesetter Award

The recipients of this year’s Pacesetter Award are:

Pamela Paterson and Rob Long

For successfully running this year’s competition, and for capturing the entire process in a procedures manual that will greatly benefit all future Competition Managers.

Firends of STC award

Friends of STC Toronto will include any person or group that has made a significant contribution to the STC Toronto chapter but is not a member. They can win this award only once. The chapter executive identifies award winners.

Front Runner Publishing Solutions For your generous support in promoting the STC and for providing equipment for our monthly meetings.

Ted Edwins For coming to the aid of our competition managers in completing the major task of ensuring that the Toronto and Southwestern Ontario competition went off without a hitch.

President's Award

The President’s Award recognizes "a person who has made a significant contribution to the Toronto chapter’s year and is not otherwise (sufficiently) recognized." Members, non-members and executive are all eligible.

2001 - 2002 was a year that saw many people contributing in many ways. Therefore, the President felt compelled, once again, to turn the award into a bouquet, recognizing a number of individuals who were unusually active and supportive.

Susan Anderson For providing exceptional support and drumming up resources during the preparations for the Spring Education Day.
Aaron Babel For developing and managing the new and improved Public Relations Committee.
Amandi Esonwanne For outstanding leadership in organizing the highly successful Fall and Spring Education Days.

Audry Bragança and Nancy Holland For an outstanding job as Hospitality Co-Managers—for always making people, members and non-members alike, feel comfortable joining us at our monthly meetings.

Ralph Robinson For faithfully preparing our competition and chapter-level awards certificates every year since 1996.
